Vision screening in children is time sensitive. Two out of three children under the age of five have not had a recommended vision screening.  If a common vision disorder like amblyopia (lazy eye) is not detected and treated before the age of 7, treatment is much less likely to be successful. To date, See by Three in North Texas has trained 176 medical professionals to better screen children’s vision, provided 5,500 children with a necessary vision screening and coordinated care for these children.
