To my Patients,

It comes with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement from the active practice of medicine effective May 1, 2020. I will miss the daily interactions with my colleagues and staff, but I will miss my patients and their families most. I want to thank you all for your friendship and the privilege of participating in your family’s care.

My colleagues will be available to you and your children for your future care. Prashanthi Giridhar, MD recently joined the practice and will be spending most of her time in the Plano office. You can schedule appointments with her or my other colleagues at the following offices:

Dr. Alan D. Davis obtained his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina and completed his residency at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Davis was fellowship trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Indiana University and Sydney University, Australia. He is Board Certified in Ophthalmology. Dr. Davis belongs to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Pediatric Ophthalmology Society, American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and Dallas County Medical Society.
