Dr. Prashanthi Giridhar, MD graduated Magna Cum Laude in Bio-medical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and completed her medical degree at Texas Tech Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. Following medical school, she completed a residency in ophthalmology at Texas Tech where she served as chief resident. She finished fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Giridhar is board certified in ophthalmology.
Dr. Prashanthi Giridhar is involved in clinical research, and has authored several articles. She is a member of American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus as well as American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Giridhar enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. They enjoy travelling and exploring new places as a family.
